Duluth East defeated Lakeville North 4-2 in a Class 2A high school boy’s hockey consolation game Friday at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
Phil Johnson (right) had two goals for the Greyhounds, who face Roseau for the consolation championship Saturday at noon at Maricucci.
Kevin Brazerol and Troy Olson also scored Duluth East goals, and Andy Welinski and Jake Randolph each had two assists. Jo Jo Jeannetta stopped 22 of 24 shots.
Roseau defeated Blaine 7-5 in a consolation game Friday.
Duluth East lost to Hill-Murray 5-3 Thursday.
