The Denfeld Concert Choir will participate in the Region 7 large group vocal music contest on Wednesday in Hibbing. Choirs from all over the region including Duluth Central and Duluth East will appear.
The Denfeld choirs will present their Winters End Hunter Concert on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Denfeld auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for student and seniors.

All three Duluth Public Schools high school boy’s basketball teams begin post-season play this week.
In Section 7AAAA, No. 1 seed Duluth East (18-8) will play host to No. 8 St. Francis (8-20) at 7 p.m. Thursday. The semifinals are March 18 and final March 19, both at Elk River. The Greyhounds are led by senior guard Dyami Starks, a Columbia University recruit, and super-sophomore, jumping-jack forward Johnny Woodard.
Duluth Denfeld and Duluth Central begin Section 7AAA play Wednesday on the road. The No. 8 Hunters (7-19) visit No. 1 Grand Rapids (24-2) and the No. 6 Trojans travel to No. 3 Hermantown (13-12). The semifinals (Friday) and final (March 16) are at Duluth East.
The Hunters are led by senior guard Race Leonard and junior guard C.J. Ham.
Junior guard Darcell Williams has carried the Trojans offensively all season.
